About NFS

16. April 2007:
Nordic Ferry Services (NFS) was established as a 50/50 joint venture between Clipper Group A/S og Bornholmstrafikken A/S.
The mangagment of NFS is taken care of by Bornholmstrafikken, and the NFS headquarters are located on Dampskibskajen in Rønne, on the island of Bornholm.
November 2007:
Clipper Invest buys the ferry line Sydfynske A/S together with a share of 30% in the ferry line Mols Linien.
1. January 2008:
Sydfynske A/S is put into management of NFS, and the routes are hereafter named "Alstrafikken", "Fanøtrafikken" and "Langelandstrafikken".
1. October 2008:
NFS takes over sailing on Samsøtrafikken
1. September 2011:
NFS takes over sailing on the routes to Bornholm for the period 2011-2017.
